Quick Introduction
Hi there! I’m Rongbin Gu (顾荣彬), a Computer Engineering student studying at the University of Waterloo ! In my free time I like to go swimming, play badminton, rage at video games, sleep, and cook food. My interests lie in both hardware and software, with a passion for video games, game development, AI, media production and transportation. I am always hungry to tackle new challenges and new opportunities. Here’s a little more about my personal self.

I attended the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) at Sir Wilfrid Laurier CI, located in Scarborough, Ontario. During my time at SWLCI, I was a part of numerous clubs and activities:

In addition to my extra-curriculars, I also worked as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor for the City of Toronto, and as a Technical Support Staff Lead at West Hill United Church. During the summer of 2021, I worked as a Media Assistant for Matthew Moniz at Moniz Media , a tech YouTube channel.

Contracts
In Fall 2018, I had the opportunity to work as a Legislative Page at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario . During this time, I had the chance to assist in the proceedings of the Ontario parliament by delivering documents, motions, bills, and other messages around parliament to various MPPs and offices while witnessing the daily proceedings of government.
